King’s Room

The King’s Room is a beautifully-constructed Uma Tidor conical hut; truly representing its Timorese roots by being β€œconsistent but diversified.”

This suite was built with the adventurer in mind. A play between outdoor living and traditional interiors, this cliff side suite overlooks the jungle below and offers the sounds of a babbling brook and the chatter of Balinese nature.

On May 24, Muy House and AY^AM Life came together to host a grounding and traditional Japanese tea ceremony promoting purity, tranquility, respect & harmony.

Guided by a certified tea master, groups of guests were led through an exploration of tea as a meditation and a daily practice. Guests were also invited to participate in group sound bath experiences with Unseen Sound designed to awaken a deeper connection of self-awareness and focus.

Following the tea ceremony and sound bath experiences, guests were invited to forge new connections through conversation and light vegan- and vegetarian-friendly bites served by Danvy Pham of Conscious Geisha. Muy House members and guests mixed and mingled, reflected on their experiences, and enjoyed all that AY^AM Life’s gorgeous Playa del Rey building has to offer.

In Celebration of Women and Women’s History Month

On March 1st, twelve inspiring women in the health & wellness industry gathered at the beautiful and newly opened wellness spa, Den Mother, on Abbot Kinney. Guests enjoyed exotic teas from around the world, vegan delights from Butchers Daughter and a grounding meditation guided by Jocelyn Mason. As attendees enjoyed a much needed signature coconut-milk + Himalayan salt foot soak with a custom blend of herbs and botanicals. We discussed the importance of womanhood and what that means to us.

On May 7th, we hosted our inaugural #MUYWELLNESS launch event – and it was a fantastic day! As founding Muy House members and their guests arrived, they were serenaded by the talented Kaya Musique as refreshments were served and experiences designed to engage, enrich & enhance the senses began: a guided breathwork meditation, journaling and coaching, Akasha record readings, acupuncture, cryo-sculpting, ThetaHealing, and rejuvenating body movement.

Once treatments were had, guests enjoyed some steam room & hot tub action, and a beautiful, colourful and delicious Ayurvedic meal.
